FAQ
Is Anichin free?
Yes. Every series and every episode is free to watch, and there is no subscription, no trial and no payment of any kind.
Do I need an account?
No. You can browse and watch without registering. An account is only needed for the extras: keeping a watch list, syncing continue-watching between devices, posting comments and receiving notifications when a new episode lands.
How do I change between sub and dub?
On the watch page, use the language tabs above the server list to switch between SUB, DUB and RAW where they are available. If you would rather not choose every time, set a default under Settings and the player will open that language automatically.
The video will not play. What should I try?
Each episode has several servers. Pick a different one from the list under the player — that resolves it most of the time. If none of them work, use the Report button on the watch page so we know which episode and server are broken, and turn off any ad blocker or VPN that may be interfering.
How often is new content added?
Episodes are added as they air. The estimated release schedule on the home page shows what is due next and roughly when.
Can I request an anime that is not on the site?
Yes — use the Request link in the menu. Include the title and a link to MyAnimeList, AniList or AniDB if you have one, and we will try to add it.
How do I keep track of what I am watching?
Sign in and use the bookmark control on any anime to file it under Watching, Completed, On-Hold, Dropped or Plan to Watch. Your list lives under Watch List, and whatever you were last watching is under Continue Watching.
Can I bring my list over from MyAnimeList or AniList?
Yes. Go to Import / Export, enter your username, and choose whether to merge with or replace your current list. You can export your list back out in text, XML or JSON at any time.
Can I stop the reply notifications on a comment thread?
Yes. Use the Turn Off button at the top of the comment section on that page and you will no longer be notified about replies in that thread. Press it again to turn them back on.
Where does the video come from?
Anichin does not host or store any files. Everything is embedded from non-affiliated third-party providers. See our DMCA page for copyright matters.
